Privacy Policy
Last updated April 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information EditTextImage (operated by SparkTech) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. Our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy also apply.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, Google account ID, and profile picture URL.
- Uploaded images (“Inputs”). Images you upload for editing.
- Generated images (“Outputs”). Images produced by the AI model from your Inputs and prompts.
- Edit metadata. The text you asked to replace, the replacement text, task status, timestamps, and any error messages.
- Credit & payment data. Credit balance, transactions, and Stripe checkout session / payment intent IDs. We do not receive or store full card numbers — Stripe handles payment details directly.
- Technical data. IP address, user agent, request timestamps, and basic server logs used to operate and secure the Service.
- Analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying usage data collected via Google Analytics to help us improve the Service.
2. How we use your data
- To operate the Service — authenticate you, process uploads, run edits, deliver Outputs, manage credits and payments.
- To prevent fraud and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy, including reviewing content reported or automatically flagged as prohibited.
- To communicate with you about your account, purchases, security, or legal notices.
- To debug, secure, and improve the Service.
- To comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train generative AI models.
3. How your images are processed
Inputs are uploaded to Cloudflare R2 (our storage provider) and sent to a third-party generative-AI provider to produce the Output. The resulting Output is also stored in Cloudflare R2 so you can access it from your Dashboard. Our AI provider may process the Input transiently for inference but, per our vendor agreement, does not retain it for model training.
4. Prohibited content
If an image you upload appears to violate our Acceptable Use Policy, we may remove the Input and Output, retain limited metadata for abuse-prevention and legal purposes, suspend or terminate your account, and, where required by law, cooperate with authorities.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can block cookies in your browser settings; doing so may prevent sign-in from working.
6. Data sharing
We share data only with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf — Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (storage and networking), our generative-AI model provider, and analytics vendors. Each is bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Legal authorities when we are required by law or legal process, or to protect safety, rights, or property.
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to continued protection of your data.
7. Data retention
- Account data is retained while your account exists.
- Inputs, Outputs, and edit metadata are retained to power your Dashboard history and for abuse prevention. You may delete your account to request removal of associated data.
- Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting law, typically at least 7 years.
- Server logs are retained for up to 90 days, unless needed longer for security investigations.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@edittextimage.com. We will verify your identity before acting on requests.
9. International transfers
The Service is operated from and uses vendors in multiple countries. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions other than your own. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
10. Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data, including TLS in transit, access-control on stored images, and least-privilege policies on our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by a more prominent notice in the Service.
